Prof. Tim Cason presents Experimental Economics and Market Incentives to address Global Climate Change

Visiting professor Tim Cason seves as UAA Rasmuson Chair of Economics for 2016. His projects employ controlled laboratory experiments to research market incentives and game theory, including environmental regulations such as emissions trading programs. Topics include evaluating auction and permit costs and transactions in regard to carbon emmissions. Tim Cason has taught at Purdue University since 1998 and holds the Robert and Susan Gadomski Chair in Economics. He received his PhD. from UC Berkeley in 1991.
