Surfing on his belly, he has won a number of adaptive surfing events. From being a wheelchair bodybuilder to a high school basketball coach, Ernie hasn't held back. He's become an advocate for the South Carolina spinal cord injury community as well. He joined Turner Sports in 1989 and for over 30 years, has been considered one of the best in the business at what he does. His new book titled “Unscripted: The Unpredictable Moments That Make Life Extraordinary” is available now.
