 032 – Shattering the taboo of menopause   Breeda is a mother of 4, a Menopause educator and coach. Founder of the Midlife Women Rock Project and Cafe(2019). A former Midwife and Public Health Nurse who has worked with women for years. Recently she returned to full time education completing a Psychology degree in 2018 which led to a Sociology masters on menopause in Ireland in 2020. In 2021 she wrote and published "Midlife Women Rock:A Menopause Story for a New Generation" the 1 st researched book on Menopause in Ireland. Available across Amazon worldwide, her website and select bookshops in Ireland. As well as working with clients 1 to 1 she facilitates group cafe meetings monthly in Waterford. In 2022 she was invited to join the team at www.Henpickedmenopauseintheworkplace.co.uk in a consultancy role working in the corporate sector in the UK and Ireland. She was one of the original four menopause advocates to lobby the Irish government through the Womens Health Task Force in early 2020 which has led to government backed campaigns and the opening of 4 menopause medical centres. Breeda Bermingham is a social entrepreneur, founder of the Midlife Women Rock Project and has just published a wonderful book Midlife Women Rock: A Menopause Story for a New Generation.  She’s a former midwife and nurse so she knows a lot about women’s health.
