"3... 2... 1... Frankie Go Boom" Interview with Director Jordan Roberts
NancyG and CorryG
SXSW Interview. From copy: “3..2..1..Frankie Go Boom,” from writer & director Jordan Roberts embraces madcap comedy with true abandon. Rooted in honesty & sincerity at its heart, the film embraces a raunchy charm that offers laugh-out-loud belly laughs. Subtle underpinnings of sharp societal commentary on everything from the internet to love to religion and sibling torment, invite audiences in on the jokes. Toss in the comedy stylings of comedic veterans like Nora Dunn, Lizzy Caplan, Chris O’Dowd, and Chris Noth, perfectly orbiting a funny & thoroughly frazzled Charlie Hunnan—how could you not laugh?"
