As athletes who move and challenge our bodies regularly, most of us would say we're pretty in tune with our bodies. However feeling something and listening to it are two very different things and often we ignore the signs and symptoms that we don't want to hear. In this weeks podcast we had another great chat with integrative medical doctor Dr. Ruth Wilde, discussing key factors we can use to do a regular 'self check in'. We talk training protocols, individualisation and communication and how important these three are if we want to maintain a level of health that will allow us to train and perform in a sustainable way.

This week Kriss is joined by friend, client and professional, Dr Ruth Wilde.  Ruth is an Integrative Medicine Doctor with a background in Emergency Medicine and General Practice, with 17 years service in the military.  Through her own experience of injury and then struggle with chronic pain, she has come to understand more about the factors that underpin our individual experiences of health and wellness: genetics, lifestyle habits, energy imbalance, and the link between gut and brain to name a few.  A very insightful episode and one we hope you enjoy!
