The Darren Smith Show

Chicago Bears Blew it Again, Las Vegas Raiders Crap Out Again + ESPN Sports Betting Analyst Joe Fortenbaugh
Straight Fire with Jason McIntyre
On today's episode, Jason explains how the Chicago Bears whiffed on their Russell Wilson 'pipe dream'. They convinced themselves - and their fan base - that they had a legit chance at getting Wilson. Instead, they ended up with the wildly mediocre Andy Dalton. Talk about a letdown. The Bears are destined to go 5-11 next season, and their head coach and general manager seem like locks for the unemployment line. Interestingly enough, the Seattle Seahawks could be headed down a similar path. That's not to say that they'll be as bad as the Bears, but to expect them to just bounce back from this Wilson soap opera is unrealistic. Expect the Seahawks to take a massive step back in 2021. In the AFC, the Las Vegas Raiders - who will be forever linked to the Bears thanks to that Khalil Mack trade from 2019 - decided it would be a good idea to dump 4/5 of their starting offensive line. You read that right; the Raiders just dismantled the best position group on their entire roster. If Jon Gruden had any sense at all, he'd fire himself as the de facto general manger. The Bears may be on the fast track to the bottom but at least GM Ryan Pace can ride off into sunset knowing that he beat Gruden in the Khalil Mack trade.
