Episode 38: Tasting Chillderberg Town with Jacob Linzy

Unshackled Liberty

Great conversation with Jacob Linzy from Tasting Anarchy Podcast about a voluntary community concept mixed in with the obligatory dose of “California sucks but it’s also cool” and a sprinkling of wine culture. We really enjoyed this one and hope you do too. Tasting Homeschool with Jacob Linzy

Homesteads and Homeschools

For episode 32 we sat down with one of the co-hosts of Tasting Anarchy, co-organizer of Childeberg, and co-parent to two Shiba Inu's, Jacob Linzy. Jacob started out in public school, but eventually found his way to homeschooling. We talked about making that transition and Jacob's journey back to the public school system when he reached high school. Episode 88 - I Like Nightmares with Jacob Linzy

Rebel With A Cause

I appeared on Shaine Scalph's (What's HAPAning?) livestream for his birthday briefly.  After I had to go, everyone continued on and Jacob brought up some interesting topics that Car Campit was just too cool to talk about.  I invited Jacob on to flesh those ideas out, and we had a great conversation about science fiction, ghost hunting, ghost stories, lucid dreaming, and sleep paralysis!  It is a jam packed episode of all around strangeness. Wrap Your Head Around This with Jacob Linzy: Sounds Like Liberty - Episode 31

The Launch Pad Media

In today's episode Nicky P & Lizzie examine Pet by A Perfect Circle. It’s a uber-creepy slice of life inside the matrixhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq4kdKNqEZA&index=22&list=OLAK5uy_liO60JcLLYbDaEe5JVBE8XB6eZquwbgu8 This week in I Heard This Happened: Not-Smiths & Synthpop. Nicky’s album this week is Tallies by Tallies, This band from Toronto sounds like the Smiths & The Sundays with hints of Best Coast & Belinda Carlisle through the Psychedelic Furs. I really don’t think they soaked this record in enough reverb, I can still pick out individual instruments. Every song is catchy with a sing-a-long hook. Sarah has an incredible cutsie belt, equal parts manic pixie & fierce yodel at times. Don’t tell Liz I may have a crush. The Music this really calls to mind is The Smiths because of that Jangly reverb laden guitar but it also has a more bombastic rhythm section than I think of when Morrissey & the gang come to mind. https://handdrawndracula.bandcamp.com/album/tallies Lizzie’s pick is 1985 by Us3r. This artist from Seattle, WA. It reminded Lizzie of Michael jackson, Imogen Heap and Daft Punk. Lots of slick effects don’t drown out the solid hooks. She thought they might of overused the vocoder effect but I actually could go for a little more. Walking with a Falling Sun is a definite highlight.https://us3r.bandcamp.com/album/1985 This week’s interview is with Jacob Linzy, of the Tasting Anarchy Podcast. Jacob gives Liz tips on wine and we all explore some deep dark musical places.https://tastinganarchy.com/ Jacob RecommendsDionysus - Dead Can Dancehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YsC32xLnkY&list=OLAK5uy_mE8VOQMMxlXL7H6TzEizp3toOtlD1p-p0Rasputina - O Perilous Worldhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgieCxzpR5o&list=OLAK5uy_k0MsPOF7uZOx4M4TJLurZlT2BJ7dKlTy8Kid Cudi - Man on the Moonhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNFa23QzdhY&list=OLAK5uy_lQtJveo3DoXFBGf66sRAsiUoefldt4j3QBattlefield Band - Across the Borderhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL-TtJscods&list=PLEdYTHG16m0sh9bdwS9Axm-9DFdB4Tx5ODas Racist - Relaxhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqd3L3F8HE8&list=PLC09FA45AF6293C60 Find all the episodes at ancapmusic.com http://www.ancapmusic.com Check out the show’s spotify soundtrack here:https://open.spotify.com/user/22e3bbur2ndqo5u3en4l472uq/playlist/3EftahIIlomHdfFCHXkI5o?si=hWDBlec6TsOaxeoN9ArmvQ To Support Us Join The Freedom Choir here:http://www.supportsll.com Click here to sign up for email list:https://www.getdrip.com/forms/539468008/submissions/new
