JF2425: Attaining Your Passive Income Goal With John Soforic

Best Real Estate Investing Advice Ever

John grew up in a blue-collar area just outside of Pittsburg; his family had coal miner and farmer roots. At the age of 24, John graduated college with $200k worth of student debt. By the age of 30, John had a wife and two kids to take care of, and the same student debt to pay off. Real estate turned it all around for him. His goal was to attain $20k in passive income, and he pursued it one house after another while having a full-time job as a chiropractor. Later he wrote a book called “The Wealthy Gardner” where he talked about winning financially and taught others life lessons on prosperity. More Wealthy Gardener Wisdom with John Soforic #5070

Financial Survival Network

Soon after he opened his vineyard for business many years ago, the Wealthy Gardener noticed a puzzling fact. Everyone wanted money, but only a few people managed to accumulate it. The reason, he realized, is that most people focus on short term gains instead of achieving lasting wealth. As he grew old and aware of his dwindling time on this Earth, the Wealthy Gardener began to share his hard-earned wisdom with the financially troubled in his community, patiently mentoring those who asked for his practical advice on the ways of prosperity. The parable of the Wealthy Gardener is far more than an admonishment to earn more or spend less; it is about timeless principles. As his lessons reveal, financial freedom is a means to power and control over our lives. Without money, we are subject to the demands and whims of others. With money, we are sheltered from the storm, and we can extend that shelter to our loved ones. Poised to become an intimate financial classic, The Wealthy Gardener will inspire readers to find their own noble purpose and relieve their money worries once and for all. No matter your income level, skillset, or unique economic disadvantages, the lessons in this book will show you the path forward. All you need is the will to work, the desire to succeed, and the motivation to learn. He continues the lessons in his upcoming book The Wealth Essentials System. It will be out in August.

The Gardener Who Planted Money Seeds with Dr. John Soforic

Rejuvenaging with Dr. Ron Kaiser

Most books about finances describe 9 to 5 jobs as prisons, as the rat race, as finance freedom's first enemy. But what about meaning? What if someone has a 9 to 5 job that makes them happy and still finds a shortcut right into financial independence while having a little margin and forgets a bit about chasing that dollar to survive? In this episode, I enjoyed chatting with Dr. John Soforic, chiropractor and author of the bestseller book The Wealthy Gardener: Lessons on Prosperity Between Father and Son. His book was translated into six languages; it hit number 46 worldwide in Audible books, inspiring thousands of people to look at their finances differently.John knew that if he tried to give his adult son financial advice, the chances of getting heard were low. He decided then to start writing a book in a collaborative effort with his son, debating and asking him to revise every chapter. John's plan worked perfectly. He managed to touch his son and thousands of people worldwide with his words and financial advice. We talked about his motivation to write the book, the broad financial aspect it covers, and the factors to consider when we choose a career. He shared his thoughts on pursuing our passion, minding our incapacities and what we don't want or like to do, and the kind of livelihood a career offers. Tune in to Episode 72 of Rejuvenaging, and listen to John's story of sacrifice, planning, commitment, and focus. Some Questions I Ask:Why did you name your book, The Wealthy Gardener? (3:44)This is kind of a unique perspective of bringing your son into the situation. I'm wondering how that came about and what the process was of doing it that way? (6:49)Could you share some of the general principles of The Wealthy Gardener with the listeners, to achieve and maintain wealth? (14:42)How difficult was it to get your family to support you in your decisions, and how important is it? (19:18)In general, how do the wealthy gardeners spend this time?
