She's a graduate of Hawthorn University and the School of Applied Functional Medicine and is now pursuing her Traditional ND.   Her own digestive health issues led her to study nutrition, and then after her first child was born, her husband was diagnosed with two autoimmune disorders back-to-back. At that point, she made it her mission to better understand what causes the body to 'fail,' and what can be done to prevent it beyond just food.  Kira combines the principles of holistic nutrition and functional medicine to help people bring their bodies back to their intended state of wellness.
