A Great Conversation about Improvement with Doug Walker

Welcome to another edition of Flaghunters ! In today's episode we have Doug Walker from Greer, South Carolina. Doug represents a vast number of folks that have the normal demands of life. He's a Father, Husband and buisness man. Yet, he's managed with his life demands, to get from a 7 handicap to a scratch !! How in the heck did he do that ???   Welcome in Mr. Bradley Hughes. Doug found Bradley a couple of years ago and immediately found some improvement. Bradley taught Doug the "Drills" and Doug truly began his acsendency in the game of Golf. Through doing the Drills, his progression became appearent as his handicap began to plummet.  What we do through diligent, mindful repetition with the drills is what Author Daniel Coyle would describe in his award winning book, "The Talent Code”, is  called, "Deep Practice". We work on these movements, correct them, and keep working. I believe that through these repetitions we are reshaping our swing DNA deeply because we are focusing on the movements WITHOUT the distraction of the golf ball.   Doug is a shinning example of what good, diiligent work can do. I know he is securely on his way to competitive success. A big thank you to Doug and I highly encourage you to go to www. bradleyhughes.com AND www.advancedballstriking.com !

Leisuretown - Doug Walker and Jon Feld

Startup to Storefront

If you were to set out to cut your caloric intake today, odds are pretty high that your mind would immediately go to what food groups you could swap out or substitute. But what about swapping out or replacing the beverages you consume on a daily basis? Lower calorie beverages are certainly nothing new, like diet and zero-calorie options have been staples of everything from Pepsi to Gatorade to Michelob for decades now. There are some though that are betting big that consumers are becoming bored with those antiquated options. Our guests today are Doug Walker and Jon Feld of Leisuretown, a CBD-infused sparkling water company. They’ve positioned themselves at a significant intersection of wellness, CBD, and non-alcoholic alternatives. Their immediate goal is to be the cool drink to consume at parties without any caloric or inebriated side effects. Their long-term goal has their sights set much, much higher. You don’t have to take my word for it though, as we’re about to dive into the deep end with Doug and Jon. Listen in as we cover everything from why they got dropped from all major online payment processors in a span of three days, how they turned to NFTs in order to sell and market their drinks, and why Doug is currently running for Mayor of West Sacramento

Blynd Submyshynz Episode 55: Doug Walker #2 (also F$%K electrical storms)

Blynd Submyshynz

Doug Walker (Monolith, The Spice Pistols) comes back shortly after his first episode to talk about the devastating fire that took his (and his bandmates' from The Spice Pistols) house, and most of their belongings, including pretty much all of their music and recording gear. Doug gets real talking about the fire and it's aftermath, gets full of gratitude talking about the music community that's helping to support them, and talks about getting through a full tour supporting Agent Orange in the "Age of Rona". We did manage to listen to some music, and dig into a particularly interesting article about the "post-hardcore) scene in Ontario Canada that devolved into Doug predicting what each "post-hardcore" band would sound like based on band photo, band name, and album cover alone (he's pretty fucking good at it). We also learned about Soft Grunge (look it up), and finished up with a song by Dumb Waiter...a previously listened-to band that we loved who was kind enough to send us a record! This is a great episode, and please donate to the GoFundMe if you can, and share it if you can't. A few other GoFundme's for folks in our community came up as well, so we're linking those too.House Walkthroughhttps://www.facebook.com/1186593579/videos/365778588660857/GoFundMe for the Spice Pistols Househttps://gofund.me/d3c61073GoFundMe for Tim Bryan from Tokehttps://gofund.me/f8bb994cGoFundMe for Travis Wheelerhttps://gofund.me/784e9bf7Dumb Waiterhttps://dumbwaiterva.bandcamp.com/album/tskThis week's SubmissionsExploring The Sideral Remote Hyperspace, featuring:GIÖBIA - https://heavypsychsoundsrecords.bandcamp.com/track/gi-bia-canyon-moon &THE COSMIC DEAD - https://heavypsychsoundsrecords.bandcamp.com/track/the-cosmic-dead-crater-creator-radio-edit Bandcamp SidetrackThe New Movement of Ontario Post-Hardcorehttps://daily.bandcamp.com/lists/ontario-post-hardcore-listBands! Blynd Submyshynz Episode 39: Doug Walker from Monolith

Blynd Submyshynz

New ep, who dis? We'll keep this short and sweet this week. Doug Walker from MONOLITH (not Monarch), Call of the Wild, and Alexandria Ocasia Nugent rules. We listened to and talked about a ton of music...to the point that we thought maybe JD fell asleep while we talked about fractions and pedals. But he didn't, Jeff had an aneurism (maybe) right up top though.
