In 2014 Austin Martin founded and created Rhymes with Reason: an interactive online educational platform that teaches academic vocabulary using popular hip-hop music. Martin started Rhymes with Reason after learning that 67 of the top 100 SAT words can be found in recognizable hip-hop songs. RwR leverages the genre's lyrics, which Martin refers to as “the world's most popular and equitable word bank” to teach literacy and vocabulary in 100-plus education programs. Among Martin's collaborators is musical artist Chance the Rapper's SocialWorks, which teamed up with RwR to make the Chicago Learning Playlist for 1,000 Windy City students.
Aston Martin's design capabilities are truly talented, as they have demonstrated with their recent bespoke custom architecture design service and their recent partnership with Brough Superior to create the first AMB 001 Aston Martin motorcycle. Aston Martin is now looking to expand their design capabilities into the air via Airbus and the ACH130 helicopter! Listen to learn the details! New Episodes Drop @ 7pm Multiple Times a Week! The group performed as part of the evening's David Bowie tribute event, headlined by Bowie tribute act Sons of the Silent Age, featuring Chris Connelly (former Ministry, Pigface, and more), Matt Walker (former Smashing Pumpkins, Morrissey, and more), and more. The trio share how they got connected to the event through Walker, and their feelings on being involved with an evening celebrating the life of Bowie. The group also previews what's on deck for each of them in 2016. For Martin, that includes more music on the way from his EchoDroides project. For Flakus, APD/MD/on-air at Chicago alt-rock station 101WKQX, that ranges from the station's upcoming PIQNIQ event and the summer music festival season, to new music with his group The Dreaming, and the twenty year anniversary of Flakus' former group Stabbing Westward's breakout record, Wither Blister Burn & Peel. Finally, Corner reveals details about a wave of Kill Hannah materials on the horizon, coming from that band's final shows at the end of 2016. Hosted by Jaime Black.
