Episode 68 - It starts with Action : How to set a powerful morning routine with Matt Gagnon

It starts with Action

Matt Gagnon is a professional Co-Active coach certified by the Coaches Training Institute, credentialed by the International Coach Federation, a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, keynote speaker, best selling author, and brings 15 years of corporate sales and leadership experience Key takeaways: If you were not rescued would you stay down would you make sure you get back up? You should want a healthy routine that you can adapt alongside implementing in case something ever happens (things don't go your way) you can adapt, adjust and still fill your cup The ability to follow intuition ties into trusting yourself and feeling as if you are enough If you can't trust yourself you end up relying on other people to make sure you are doing the right thing You should choose who gets your energy, it is a privilege for someone on this earth to get your energy and you choose who should get it. Never stop dreaming bigger. Living A Life Aligned With Your Values - Matt Gagnon

CEO Journals with Ethan Bridge

Episode #042 – There is more to a person than just their accomplishments… there is a journey. With social media nowadays we are often misled by those that we follow. We need to remember what we see is a highlight reel and a highlight real only. We see a snapshot of the moment, a fraction of the full story. Every entrepreneur has a dream, a set of goals in which they are setting out to accomplish. And they each have their own values, in which they should never forget. Matt Gagnon, todays guest on the show, believes in living a life aligned with your values. We all have up to five core values - that when honoured, evoke the best in us. The problem is that many people live life with values defined by others, leaving one feeling empty and like they are never enough. It causes us to become fixated on the things that do make us feel whole and good about ourselves. It’s addiction. Matt first discovered this when he became addicted to praise. Not drugs or alcohol, or the things that people most commonly associate addition to – praise. And for 15 years Matt sold himself to the corporate lifestyle. Sold himself to the point Matt had to go on medical leave with several severe and life-threatening health issues. Matt wasn’t set up in the perfect position to pursue self-employment. In fact, he was in quite the opposite. He barely had the energy to work 40-hour months. But it’s incredible what you can achieve when your back is up against the wall. I hope you enjoy this episode of CEO Journals. -------------- Make sure you connect with Matt: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mattgagnon1/ Visit Matt’s Coaching website:  https://lifestorycoaching.net/ Follow Matt on Instagram: @iammattgagnon Call Matt: 512-541-6561 Follow me on Instagram: @CEOJOURNALS / @ETHANBRIDGE_ -------------- DON’T FORGET TO LEAVE A 5-STAR REVIEW IF YOU ENJOYED THE SHOW!

EPISODE #133 | MATT GAGNON | LIVE WITH COURAGE

American Real

Matt Gagnon is a rule-breaking mindset coach with a mission statement to, “Live With a Courageous Heart.” The TEDx keynote speaker is a bulletproof optimist, and is our latest guest on American Real. Matt quickly dives into his story and his work, discussing different levels of transformation, saying, “I am always in a state of transformation. Transformation is growth.” Matt’s father was his best friend, and after his death, Matt sought out friends that aligned with his values, especially strong male friends. Many lessons came out of that experience, including there is no perfect moment to take a leap of faith in yourself. The conversation flowed into his struggle with Addison’s disease and narcolepsy, overcoming adversity, and hitting rock bottom. Matt discussed the joy in generosity, the ability to receive, as well as his GoFundMe campaign. In addition, he touches on what he refers to as his five key supply lines; sleep, eating healthy, fitness, family/community, and prayer. We also cover: - Matt’s career in retail leadership. His developing and training of great talent. - Serving people. Unhealthy serving (trying to rescue vs. be a servant-leader). - When are you going to show up bigger in life? - The purpose behind serving. Is it because you feel needed, or, is it because it’s driven by purpose? - Our opportunity to create, influence or destroy our own paths. - Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey - will you answer the call? - Wanting to be rescued was the most difficult event he had to overcome. - Matt’s typical day. - Matt contribution to the book, Coach Wisdom, available on Amazon. - Music. “Every life needs a soundtrack.” - Matt’s passion of vinyl records. - Embracing singing. - Matt’s call to his 20-year-old self. - Matt Gagnon’s legacy.
