DJ Waldow (me!) on Helping People Rediscover Their Passion

Living Your Passion

In today's "flip the mic" episode, past Living Y0ur Passion guest Ethan Beute, interviewed me! I guess that makes me guest #26. Ha! I actually "pre-released" this episode on Sunday, November 2nd -- the day before I announced my new business, my new career, my new passion -- COACH DJ. If you are reading this post - and listening to this episode anytime Monday, November 3rd or after, well, the cats out of the bag. Ha! Ethan did a wonderful job of giving me a forum - my own podcast - to share my path to uncovering my passion: Helping People Rediscover Their Passion. Somewhat meta, I know. In case you missed any of the previous episodes, you can catch them here by visiting the Living Your Passion landing page. Are you ready to learn more about how I rediscovered my passion?During this episode ... I shared my definition of passion - and how it's evolved over time. We talked about some of the "big themes" - the big overarching thing - I've taken away from the show so far. I shared how I have hobbies ... err ... other passions ... beyond my MAIN passion. We chatted about P90X and how I have not had beer for 3 months!!! AHHHHH!!! We talked about my passion, and how it changed, grew and evolved over time. I talked about how not not loving what you do can negatively impact so many areas of your life. I revealed "my next big thing" - COACH DJ. I dove into how COACH DJ works - how I help, the process, etc. I shared the "4 Es" of my DNA.More About DJ (ME!)You know where to find out more about me, right?Links Discussed In This Episode Living Your Passion episode with Ethan Beute Why I Quit My Job Today (and What's Next) - my blog post announcing I quit Marketo COACH DJ - my new website, business, passion, career Enjoyed this episode? #9: How to Use Facebook to Sell with DJ Waldow

Online Marketing Made Easy with Amy Porterfield

On this episode of the Online Marketing Made Easy Podcast, I cover part three of a three-part Facebook marketing mini-training. When it comes to marketing on Facebook, consider building a plan around these three phases: Phase 1: Attraction Phase 2: Promotion Phase 3: Selling In my last podcast episode, I talked about the promotion phase, where it's all about attracting quality leads through opt-ins, contests and promotions. If you missed that, or if you'd like to listen to it again, you can find it at amyporterfield.com/8. Today's episode is all about the selling phase. The focus during this phase is turning a prospect into a loyal customer, but I have a different take on the whole selling process when it comes to Facebook - so I want you to keep an open mind because I think you can learn some valuable strategies here. In this episode I show you how to incorporate easy email marketing strategies with your Facebook efforts to see bigger results (aka profits!). To really drive home the importance of creating a solid email campaign for your new Facebook leads, I wanted to give you some invaluable tips, so I invited my friend and email marketing expert, DJ Waldow to come on the show. DJ has a popular website called SocialButterflyGuy.com and he's the co-author of the book The Rebel's Guide to Email Marketing. DJ is my go-to guy for all things email marketing. In this episode, here’s what we’ll cover: How to create email campaigns that are specifically geared to your new Facebook leads. How to put more of your Facebook marketing on autopilot. How to deploy an autoresponder sequence once you get a new Facebook lead (and if you don't know what that is, I'll tell you!) A formula to ensure that you are getting the most out of the efforts you're putting into getting leads. A common misconception about Facebook marketing. How the right perspective will reduce the stress of selling on Facebook. And so much more!
