“Health and safety is challenging. It is a complex area. I would say particularly to those coming to management for the first time, tread carefully. Go forward, learn about it, seek help and go above it where possible.” – Gareth Jones

Excuse the sentimentality - here's an interview with my husband, about his favourite Madonna songs... and also a chance for me to answer the Something To Remember questions.

My guest today is the legendary Gareth Jones...
Gareth has always found inspiration in recorded music and has dedicated himself to the form. After initial training at the BBC in the late 70s He started this journey at Pathway Studios in London and helped build the Garden studio in Shoreditch. In the early 80s he moved to Berlin for 10 years and worked at the legendary Hansa studios.
His work goes all the way back to 1980 and includes artists such as Fad Gadget, Depeche Mode, Wire, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Erasure. More recently he’s worked with Stubbleman, The Leisure Society, Spiritual Friendship and Yann Teirsen. It’s fair to say that I could fill the entire podcast just mentioning the artists he’s worked with.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I did recoding it....Thanks Gareth.
