Max Cavalera (Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy) reflects on a few of his favourite songs for dark days, which include Blind Gary Davis' "Death Don't Have No Mercy" and the only instrumental ever banned, Link Wray's "Rumble." He also delves into the songs he created from dark places, like "Headup," his (literally) blood-spattered tune with Chino from Deftones, Soulfly's "One" and the records he created in the wake of the loss of his dear friend, Dimebag Darrell of Pantera.

He is also known for his work alongside his brother Igor in Cavalera Conspiracy and heavy metal supergroup Killer Be Killed.
