Today the goons have on the great comedian and all around human being Helen Wildy! Helen comes on the show to talk about her favorite band Hanson and their album Shout it Out. Matt and Alex were surprised with how they felt about the album and the history that Helen told us about them. They worked their ass off to get to where they are as you'll hear. This was a really fun episode with one of Pittsburghs funnest people. Enjoy!Talking Tunes With These Two Goons RSS
Garrett Titlebaum: It's Nice To See He's Working RSSFresh off her stint as the January comic in residence at Burning Bridges Comedy Club, Helen Wildy will be at the UC Warehouse with the monthly show Unplanned Comedy’s Stand Up Stand Ups, this Saturday. She joins the podcast to discuss what she learned when we met at Arcade house team auditions, we then talk about her one woman show she put on for Pittsburgh’s First Night. Helen and I shared are affinity for the Gilmore Girls. We get lost in a Stars Hallow discussion. We talk about being Irish. Then have a great talk about navigating open mics.I’ve been lucky to have four, five or six different shows with Helen over the last couple months and she’s quickly becoming one of my favorite people to work and hang in the green room with. Enjoy the final episode of January. 1-800-637-HOPE (4673)
The Alex Kraemer Program RSSHelen Wildy is a Pittsburgh based stand-up comedian and improvisor. Helen and my conversation began with doing bits, I scatted a little, and then we jumped into the comedy talk. We then dove into her world traveling and her Irish heritage. We discussed past relationships, adding what we wanted out of a relationship, and just how each of us has evolved as a human being. Helen is just awesome. This was a really great talk I think you'll enjoy.
