SOLVED - The Disappearance of Heather Thomas: Redux
Tales By Cole
"The Disappearance of Heather Thomas" is the story this podcast started on, and one that is still very close and personal to me as an individual. Recently I relistened to the telling of her story, and felt that I didn't quite do it justice, that it could have been more concise, more direct, and more about Heather herself. The podcast itself has become something more than I ever thought it would be, and so too should its first and most personal case. This time I will be telling Heather's story without the semi-autobiographical tone: no yelling, no rushing, and, of course, with sound designer Matt Black, this time, to make it all sound wonderful. Today's Heather comes to us from South Dakota! Our episode begins with her telling me "You never know who you'll sit next to on an airplane" - that's a story you HAVE to hear. She learned to dance at 40, finished her college degree at 44, skydived at 45, and acted in her first theatre production at 46. 10 years ago she experienced some traumatic events that taught her how to live. There's no stopping her now...!!!IG: @heatherthomas_sdLinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/heatherthomas1Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/heyheather)

On this version of WOTS we catch up with Heather Thomas. This is the third time Heather has been on the podcast so we did not need to do any backstory ideas. We spent the whole hour of talking directly related to how Heather has been dealing with, reacting to, and processing the fact that we are in the midst of a global pandemic. She tells us some of what happened to her when she first heard about Covid-19 and we spend most of the time talking about what her plans are moving forward. We talk about how she plans to continue recording, giving lessons, creating new content and music and more. I hope you enjoy catching up with Heather as much as I did.Featured music:“I Am the Desert” by Heather Thomas off Open Up“When I Was Young” by Heather Thomas off Open UpLearn more here: https://www.heatherthomasmusic.com/You can find, subscribe, rate, and review the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

Episode 116 - The last time Heather Thomas's dad Pat saw his ten year old daughter alive was on the afternoon of October 1, 2000 when she went outside to play around their Cloverdale, BC, townhouse complex. After one the largest searches in RCMP history to that point, it was a hitchhiker who found Heather's body floating facedown in Alouette Lake in Golden Ears Park. Heather had been murdered and the community was shocked when they found out it had been one of their own who had done the terrible deed.Sources and Further Reading: R. v.
