Then the game analysis starts with praise for Dani Ceballos and a discussion of Arsenal’s midfield needs in general. There’s even praise for Kolasinac. After that Lacazette’s performance is addressed for the highs and lows. There’s a discussion of the way Arsenal played down to ten men and the perofmrnaues of the substitutes and a nice discussion of the positives that can be taken out of the performance. The Unsung Hero: Mike Dean

Play
Read more

Mike Dean is the best music producer you've never heard about. From his work with Kanye West, to Travis Scott, to Jay-Z, he's worked with the who's who of hip-hop without getting a whole lot of press.

He's helped craft historic records such as "Gold Digger" by Kanye, N*ggas In Paris by Kanye and Jay-Z, and Lemonade by Beyonce, either as a mixing engineer, a songwriter, or a producer.

The man can do it all. He stays at the forefront of experimentation, with his heavy use of analog Moog synthesizers, and always finds a way to stay current by reinventing his sound.

Dean has been one of the first producer to introduce several live instruments in his rap compositions, which also makes him a pioneer in that sense.

Listen this episode until the very end, as we also introduce two new segments to the show: your weekly mixing and production tips!

On this edition of the Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast Elliot (@yankeegunner) is joined by Clive (@clivepafc) and Paul (@poznaninmypants) to discuss Arsenal’s draw at home to Sheffield United. This is a great discussion about a performance that divided opinion. It starts with an examination of our early struggles and continues with a focus on how we can get the attack improving. There’s specific focus on Lacazette and the “Ozil role.” Then there’s a detailed discussion of performances from Pepe and the fabulous Martinelli. After debating the penalty that Mike Dean failed to award and the late substitutions, the pod ends with an evaluation of Areteta’s work so far. All that and more on this edition of the Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast.
