Pugliese has been an educator for more than 15 years, first in early childhood education and then in the music classroom. She has worked almost exclusively in Title 1 Schools and helped create music standards for Cambridge Public Schools. In 2009, Kristin created Note Knacks Music; a company devoted to making music more accessible for young children.  Through her company, she provides support for educators via lesson plans, a blog, workshops and as a national clinician.
