Pastor & Broadcaster Peter Jenkins - Use What You Have to Do What God has Called You to Do
THE REALITY Talk Show
"Pastor and broadcaster Peter Jenkins was, in his words, a product of the 1904 Welsh Revival. At age 9 he discovered the love of God and gave his life to Jesus. Peter was filled with passion for the gospel. Desiring to be a missionary he saw many people come to Christ from an early age. Eventually, Peter entered the ministry and began pastoring a church in the British West Midlands. Later he began broadcasting far and wide on Christian radio." Big Passion In Little Rhody - Saltwater Edge's Peter Jenkins On The Business of Being A Good Friend to Anglers
Hooked in New England
Any town's tackle shop is the social center of talk, rumor, advice, information, innuendo, outright lies, a few more rumors, and some outright lies. And if a tackle shop owner plays his cards right, he gives his customers - new and old - enough information that with a little work they become better anglers. Such is the case with Peter Jenkins, owner of The Saltwater Edge. Peter has a passion for fishing and a passion for sharing info about fishing, and he puts it all to good use in an amazing retail and online shop that is as much about info as it is about money. He also knows more about marine worms than any human should know. Hint: That knowledge equals BIG fish. It’s a brand new year and the good news is that God has big plans for each of us personally. God also has big plans for our church this year. A few years ago God laid it on our hearts to ‘Fill the city with the message, life and fame of Jesus’. Since then we’ve been passionately committed, more than ever, to serving our city in 5 ways over the ensuing 5 years. But we can’t do this on our own, and so through this series we’ll be exploring how through the three key areas of Faith, Hope and Love, we are being filled by God, to overflow in these areas to fill the people and city around us. We’d love for you to join us this January to find out how God is moving in our city, and how you could be a part of making this vision a reality as we are all Filled to Fill.
