Mike is the Global President and CRO at Adomni. He most recently served as CEO of Enhance Outdoor, and prior to launching Enhance, he spent eight years as the global CEO of Rapport Worldwide, taking it from annual billings of $85 million in two countries to nearly $1 billion across eighteen countries. Mike is a native Brit who now lives in Westchester, New York with his Czech wife and their three children. In this episode we spoke a lot about Mike’s people first approach to leadership and the very real results that he has created within the teams and businesses he’s led over the years. We also explored the topics of empathy, his view that if you have a ‘work persona’ you can’t be a good leader – let alone a great one – and how he has on numerous occasions supported some of his very best people to leave the organisation.Links Mentioned:FREE 10-4-10 Leadership Mini-Course: https://mailchi.mp/b3d5c50adb91/10_4_10Weekly Planning protocol Course – FREE with a review of the podcast:https://benmortonleadership.thinkific.com/courses/weeklyplanning

Mike Cooper - There is a Structure to High Performance
The Coaching Convo Podcast
I am so excited to introduce to you my 50th guest on the podcast. Mike Cooper is a high performance coach who works with the structure of human experience and performance. In this convo we delve into topics around coaching like I have not yet done with other guests, so I will leave them as a bit of a surprise. Mike is also the person who 12 years ago introduced me to Meta Coaching, the coaching methodology I use in my capacity as a mental performance coach. So to me it is also very fitting that Mike is my 50th guest as I step more into being a full time coach of the mental game. And so I also want to let you know that my Mental Performance Coaching practice is now open. Visit www.performanceformula.net for more details, to see how I am making mental performance coaching accessible, affordable and available to all. Last announcement just before we get into this conversation. What would Brian Bevan say? A RUGBY LEAGUE PODCAST
After an abysmal opening Wire performance, the podcast goes in search of the answers to what went wrong. Sam's positivity towards Price wanes a numerical point, Rob investigates a specifc Doctor's Hippocratic Oath, and Dennis sits on his bench as he fails to explain the unexpected. Plus, there's Mutiny on the HJ and the Powell of Love. Enjoy.
Ok, truth is - Mike was too lazy to write an intro, and he wanted me to "give it my best shot." Here goes... Mike is a Canadian. That's really about all you need to know. Oh, and you can see what he does at https://blackmountainmedia.ca/ That's good enough. Probably more of an intro than he deserves. Go visit him. Good dude... for a Canadian.
