Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre – Recap of Steelers/Browns on Thursday Night Football + Bet Online's Dave Mason + Best Bets for NFL Week 3 AND 1 NCAA Football Best Bet!

Straight Fire with Jason McIntyre

Jason begins with his recap of the boring and ugly Thursday Night Football game between the Steelers and the Browns. Weather was supposed to be a factor in the game, but with the crowd not having any energy, and game script feeling dull, the matchup just felt flat. Jason thinks the Steelers need to get Kenny Pickett in, but of course, Mike Tomlin in his press conference said he wasn’t in the headspace to make a switch so the answer is “definitively, no.” Bet Online’s Dave Mason joins Jason to discuss his experience with giving betting advice and how he handles consumers with their wins and losses, and shares his tips & tricks on how to read and understand sharp lines and what plays to make. Dave also gives his reads for NFL Week 3, including trying to get everyone on the Jets and Broncos bandwagon — just for week of course. Plus, Jason shells out very own best bets for a busy, busy Week 3 in the NFL, one Best Bet for College Football on Saturday, and much more! On this episode of The It's Only Rock And Roll Podcast, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and founding member of the legendary band Traffic, DAVE MASON talks about his sometimes-tumultuous tenure with the band, and how moving from England to the United States over fifty years ago introduced him to a slew of like-minded musicians from Gram Parsons to Cass Elliot. Maintaining Aircraft Control with Weasel Pilot Dave Mason

Lessons from the Cockpit

Welcome to episode 21 of the Lessons from the Cockpit Show! My good friend Dave Mason and I walked and talked moving around the displayed aircraft at Hill Aerospace Museum in Ogden Utah earlier this month. Dave relates how fliers learn in extreme situations to quickly compartmentalize problems and put fears in their place. The number one priority in the air always is maintaining aircraft control, including your emotions and voice! The Reagan 80's was a great time to be a military pilot. Aircrews got to hop in a jet anytime and go out and just do it. One of the greatest tools aviators have is the post-flight debrief, a learning opportunity not many of us use in our daily lives. Walking around the museum Dave shared some of his experiences flying one of the most dangerous missions in the Air Force... the Wild Weasel mission hunting enemy surface-to-air missiles or SAM sites in the F-105G and F-4G Wild Weasel aircraft. Special thanks to Tanker Pilot: Lessons from the Cockpit for sponsoring this episode. Custom graphics of the F-105F, F-4G, and F-16CJ Wild Weasel aircraft are available at www.wallpilot.com for the walls of your home, office, or hangar. Please share this and previous episodes of the Lessons from the Cockpit show at www.markhasara.com Thanks for listening and look forward to talking to you next week.

Everything Fab Four

Kenneth Womack's guest on this episode of “Everything Fab Four” is English singer/songwriter Dave Mason, who first found fame and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with the rock band Traffic.
