£300K Sales to £500M Sales in 12 Months with Jay Abraham

The Art of Acquisitions Podcast

Business and marketing expert Jay Abraham joins Dan on this insightful episode. Jay has consulted for some of the largest companies and entrepreneurs in the world and helped generate growth of billions of dollars so has a wealth of experience! He shares some of his expertise along with advice in this episode and also talks about the power of collaboration and research in making successful acquisitions.  KEY TAKEAWAYS Think about what services you can offer to those who will be benefiting from your completed acquisition. Think about what is high value to the clients but is also high profit to you. Jay’s go to leveraging strategy would be to focus on what it takes to get the qualitative interest of the client market. What is the most compelling way to get their attention to start a buying relationship with you? Look at your competitors, who has the best access and credibility to your prospective and ideal client? See if you can replicate what they are doing or even collaborate with them. Frequently smaller businesses have a better relationship with customers and clients. They have the capacity to do so, so they can often be a great partner. Don’t dismiss collaboration because they are smaller if they have the better relationship. When looking at acquisition opportunities, Jay tries to find companies that are what he calls ‘successfully stuck’ which means they have a good product and history but they need help getting the best out of all areas of their company. He helps companies reach their full potential.  BEST MOMENTS  “What’s the most compelling way that you can really get their qualitative attention?”  “It’s very easy to be successfully stuck and making pretty good money” “You sound like a very quality man trying to do great things” ABOUT THE HOST Dan Taylor Dan has completed over 36 transactions with a value in the tens of millions, though more importantly, he has added significant value by combining creative commercial property strategies and business buying strategies. Working with existing property investors and SSAS Pension owners. Dan helps accelerate your income, grow your wealth and reclaim your time to live life on your terms. Dan believes acquisitions are simply the fastest route to create cash flow and generational wealth. Dan loves to help investors create cash flow and grow their wealth by investing with him. Dan and his team do the deals so you don’t have to. Do you have a SSAS Pension or cash that’s not producing income and simply don’t have the time to do it yourself, then get in touch and if you qualify you may be able to invest with us acquiring businesses and commercial property. Jay Abraham: The Billion Dollar Marketer

The David Spisak Show

Jay Abraham is the CEO and Founder of The Abraham Group. He is appropriately known as the $21.7 Billion Dollar Man and is the highest paid marketing consultant, business leader and executive coach in the United States. What we discuss in this episode: Jay Abraham has worked with over 10,000 companies and has had a transformative effect on each of them over the last 3 decades. Jay got his start by paying attention to business models outside of the industry that he was working in. He would take simplistic elements from each model and create a hybrid model that generated revenue. Doing so sparked his curiosity to learn as much about business and marketing as possible and to see how far he could push the envelope. It's important to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. For example, Tesla spends $0 per year on marketing while Ford Motor Company spends hundreds of millions. David relates this to the fact that Tesla has created a competitive advantage, something that entrepreneurs should be focused on. Some entrepreneurs fail to see opportunity in the market and wonder how someone else can produce so much more within the same zip code. Jay explains the importance of taking advantage of strategic opportunities in your market so that you can take your business to a higher level. There is a difference between being a manager and an entrepreneur. A business owner is similar to a manager, who shows up and completes various tasks throughout the day to continue the operation of the business. An entrepreneur is like a leader who is continually seeking opportunity and climbing the proverbial mountain to gain a competitive vantage point and see where the opportunities exist. If you're not motivated by impacting people, it's a deterrent to optimal growth. David says the main reason people take a job is money, but that's not enough to keep them working. After a while the money will not carry them — it leaves them void of purpose.  Like this show? Please leave us a rating and review where you're listening right now! Even one sentence helps!
