The Flickers

Amy Duddleston has worked on some of the best films and tv shows of the modern era. Amy got her big break as an assistant editor on ‘My Own Private Idaho’ with Gus Van Sant, and even lived in a house with River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves while filming that movie. She also edited the shot for shot remake of ‘Psycho’ directed by Gus Van Sant as well. Most recently Amy Duddleston has edited the incredibly well received HBO series ‘Mare Of Easttown’ which stars Kate Winslet, Guy Pearce and Evan Peters. She has been nominated twice this year for an Emmy award for her amazing work on ‘Mare Of Easttown’. 107. Psycho (1998) Directed by Gus Van Sant

Movies That Made Us Gay

A boy's best friend is his mother.  We watched Psycho (1998) directed by Gus Van Sant no we won't apologize.  Hot on the heels of the success of Good Will Hunting, Gus Van Sant was given a blank check by Hollywood and he took a gamble on a shot for shot remake of the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho. Ravaged by critics and fellow filmmakers, this version of Psycho has a long and sordid history - and we are here to tell you... its not THAT bad!  In fact we enjoy the dang thing. Anne Heche is giving us a dizzy Marion Crane who makes one wrong decision after another.  Viggo Mortnesen is serving himbo-daddy realness.  Julianne Moore creates a character FAR beyond what was presented on the page and Vince Vaughn delivers a solid Norman Bates.  This movie is pretty queer and we are here to tell you - give it a chance!
