Jimmy Betts is a nerd. And... so am I... so this conversation turned out alright. Jimmy was born and adopted from South Korea into a loving Omaha home. A brainy outlier and Capricorn systems breaker - Jimmy’s journey is one of disappointment with the structures in place, and that even if we check all the boxes... we aren’t guaranteed fulfillment. His journey takes him from science high schools to Iowa State University , traveling the country as a medical Qi Gong practitioner, martial arts instructor, massage therapist and climate activist...which is where our paths crossed. Jimmy walked a-crossed the country in 2013 to slow his own life down and to fight climate change, joined up with the pipeline activists and shares insight into how we can find what breaks our heart so we can make a change in the world. + Taurus season, May ingress report, Cinco de Mayo misconceptions, allergy season and box breathing.
