Mystic Mother SriMati aka Julie Piatt on her Eternalizing Process

Energetically You

“There are many ways to do things in life, if we would only be open, and have the awe and wonder of a child…” You don’t want to miss an opportunity to listen to the divine Julie Piatt aka SriMati.  I personally can never get enough of her musings and wisdom.  She talked about how we can bring more spirituality into our everyday experience and why having the experience of a shift in your energy is the most impactful way to shift your life. I love how she speaks of externalizing, not aging.  The topics we touched on: What does she mean when she says her spiritual community Water Tiger is “a way to no way.” Why experiential  techniques to spiritual development might be more important than philosophy. Why it is our directive to fully know ourselves. Why you can’t experience enlightenment if you read it in a book.  Her perspective on forgiveness. Why community, moving forward is going to be our greatest asset. Quotes “I just had this overwhelming direction that I needed to not go on [social media] for a year.” “It had to be useful.  It had to be beautiful.  It had to be applicable to anyone no matter what their orientation is.  It had to have a deep meaning.” “What we truly need to transform from the inside out are techniques, they are techniques that are portals to experience, and when you experience these energies, it shifts your entire life.” “There is nothing more creatively inspiring than a being that knows itself.” “SriMu for me is a mission of global awakening, I discovered that food is a very sacred transmission of activation, it is in fact a ritual experience that we engage in all the time.” Thank you for listening! More from Srimati: Julie Piatt aka “SriMati” is a mystic mother, musician, artist, chef, author and healer who has lived her life immersed in devotion and expansive creativity. She is a wayshower of finding the divine in all life experiences. SriMati shares her wisdom from a multitude of life events that she has experienced as processes of alchemical transformation. In her experience, her life has shown her that It is the ability to hold the divine perspective in all life brings before you that allow for the deepest access to the meanings that life is waiting to reveal to us. Each life is created in the perfection of a unique blueprint that has inherent within it’s design all that is needed for it’s full expression. SriMati is a powerful living example of how to love ourselves more so that we can live our unique design in full and expansive self expression. When we live in this frequency, we bless all life around us. Julie Piatt, SriMati - Getting Through Tough Financial Times

DENtalks powered by DEN Meditation

We are so excited to welcome back Julie Piatt, aka SriMati, to DENtalks this week to talk all about getting through tough financial times. As you may remember from our previous episode, Julie is not only a spiritual guide and teacher, but also a multi talented author, chef, and musician. What you might not know about her is that she actually started out in marketing and interior design before pursuing her art! Now, in light of recent events leaving a lot of people unemployed, we brought Julie back to talk to us more and offer insight on her family’s nine year financial struggle as they transitioned into new careers with four children. They decided the way through it was through the heart, and started pursuing the things they loved - even when it didn’t make sense! Both in their 40s, her husband started training in sports and she started recording music with her children. Julie talks about how changing her mindset turned her financial collapse into a spiritual challenge, and how taking on that perspective opened the door for new opportunities. She reminds us that our one mission in life is to access the depths of our hearts to find out who we are and share it with the world. If you’re one of the many people struggling to find out what path you are on, this is an episode you won’t want to miss!Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/dentalks-powered-by-den-meditation7294/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands

Julie Piatt On Sacred Commerce & SriMu

The Rich Roll Podcast

Today the wise & ethereal Julie Piatt -- my wife and partner for the last 20+ years -- returns for her umpteenth appearance on the podcast. But this time we try something different. As longtime listeners know well, Julie is a being of many talents. Although widely lauded for her series of bestselling plant-based cookbooks, the one who goes by SriMati is also an artist, musician, yogi, healer, mother of four and serial entrepreneur. In addition, Julie hosts the For The Life of Me podcast. She reigns over Water Tiger, her online spiritual community. And she’s the ‘Mother Arc’ (her term for founder & CEO) of SriMu, her plant-based cheese brainchild start-up.Over the years, Julie been a recurring source of spiritual wisdom on the podcast, dropping many a pearl on everything from parenting and creativity to navigating conflict, managing relationships, dealing with financial hardship, and countless other subjects.Today's episode, however, is something new -- an exploration of Julie as entrepreneur.Channeling my inner Guy Raz, I give Julie the ‘How I Built This’ treatment — tracing her background growing up in Alaska through her career in fashion. Building a garment line. The pain of shuttering it. The pivot into home construction and interior design. And how all of these experiences inform the business and culture of SriMu, her most successful start-up to date. You can call me biased. I am. But that doesn’t change the fact that she is poised for world domination with what truly is the best, next evolution of cheese. The visually inclined can watch our exchange on YouTube. And as always, the podcast streams wild and free on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.Aside from the business bent, this conversation is centered on the power of meeting others — and yourself — in love.As humans, we self-identify with the stories we tell ourselves. We cling to illusions of safety and security. But this moment is challenging the firmness of the ground upon which we stand. Julie reminds us of the impermanence of everything.Embracing this vital truth will bring you greater peace. It will broaden your empathy for others. And help you identify the answers you seek.Hint: they have been inside you all along.Peace + Plants,Listen, Watch & SubscribeApple Podcasts | YouTube | Spotify | Stitcher | Google PodcastsThanks to this week’s sponsorsAthletic Greens: 75 whole food sourced ingredients designed to optimize 5 key areas of health, Athletic Greens is the delicious daily habit that sets you up for a healthy future. Plant Trainers Podcast - Plant Based Nutrition & Fitness

In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with Rich Roll and Julie Piatt. They are the co-authors of The Plantpower Way: Whole Food Plant-based Recipes and Guidance For The Whole Family. We talk about the tools for making families healthier and how to keep that deep connection with your partner and family through the toughest moments in your life. We wanted to bring up an oldie and a goody. Why are we doing that? Well, in the summers we need a little downtime, for those of you who have only joined us in the last few years, you may not have gotten to these yet and for those of you who have, we know you will walk away with added knowledge and inspiration you may have missed the last time. So enjoy, and we will be back very soon with fresh new content. In the meantime, be active and stay safe and come join the conversation @plantrainers on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.  Rich is a graduate from Stanford University and Cornell Law School and became an entertainment lawyer. He realized that his life was not going in the direction he wanted it to both professionally and health-wise and so he made some major changes. He soon became a well known plant-based ultra-endurance athlete competing in Ultraman 2008 & 2009, EPIC5 (5 Ironman triathlons on the 5 Islands of Hawaii) in 2010, and in 2009 he was named one of the top 25 fittest men in Men’s Fitness Magazine. Rich is now a plant-based advocate and motivational speaker. His best-selling book, Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World’s Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself was a great inspiration for Adam. He continues to inspire Adam and others through The Rich Roll Podcast which has been on the iTunes top 10 list for a long time.  Julie Piatt was born in Alaska eating wild game her father brought home for her family and later started a career in fashion design. Through the years she has left that behind and has become plant-based and concentrates on her connection with the physical world and spiritual world. Julie is a wonderful musician and plays in a band with her sons. She is a real yogi and has created the Jai Seed cookbook and Jai Release Meditation program which Shoshana still uses from time to time. In this episode we discuss:  The journey of writing a book The role the children played in the making of their book Diet v.s. lifestyle Plant-based is easy Helping your children with lifestyle change Children’s responsibility Love & relationships
