009 - Joel Flores - Race and Justice 2
Lost and Found Podcast
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. But how do we get from the starless midnight we seem to be in to bright daybreak where people of all ethnicities, all languages, all colours live together in respect, care and love for one another? My guest today is a dear friend who represents a visible minority, a man with brown skin who has lived in both United States and Canada. He knows what racial discrimination looks like, but he is not a victim. So pull up a chair and sit with us as my good friend, Joel Flores and I talk about race issues and what we can do to lift the veil of darkness and step into a brighter day.Support the show (https://lostandfoundpodcast.ca/donate)
