Verniece Love - Business, Track, and Pat Sajak (Episode 31)

In my opinion, episode 31's company is an example of 2 things:

Perseverance and Competitive Fire.

From being raised by her grandmother from the age of 2...

to being pregnant at 16...

to graduating high school and pursuing college and college athletics with a baby...

to becoming a school record-breaking Division I athlete while attending classes, working, raising her daughter, practicing, and maintaining her skill level on the track stage.

Today she is a mom of 3, a military wife, and the Director of the Commonwealth's SWaM Certification (Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned) program.

Oh, and you don't want any problems with her on the flag football field or at the bowling alley.

Did I mention her "Wheel of Fortune" appearance?

Welcome to the show...

Verniece Love

Episode #39 - Does Pat Sajak Have A Black Daughter? (READ DESCRIPTION)

Sorry for how late this is. Honestly, I put off editing it for so many weeks because I'm pretty embarrassed by the way I acted on it. Everything I say in this episode is true, for a very long time I was in a hole, and I was probably at my lowest when this episode was recorded, that's why I get into very real and very dark and very personal topics. As for the self harm, I haven't done it in over 2 weeks, one really bad night I gave myself a very very brutal black eye and it was a bit of a wake up call I guess you could say. Doing shit like that hurts the people who love and care for you more than it hurts yourself, and such a practice literally helps nothing. Since this episode, I've been getting better and better with each passing day, and I'm excited to get back to the old Tristan Horse, and to keep bringing you all more hilarious and fun episodes of the Welcome To The Horse House podcast. Thank you for your patience and continued support of the podcast, I love you all. If you ever wanna talk, dm me. Thanks!

On an average day, how many times do you AVOID doing things?  A new poll found the average American comes up with six excuses a day for avoiding stuff.  That's 2,190 excuses a year.

Here are the five most common go-to excuses we like to use . . .

  1. "I'm too tired."
  2. "I can't really afford it."
  3. "I don't have enough time."
  4. "It's too much of a hassle."
  5. "I forgot."

The survey also asked people to name the top situations that require an excuse.

The most common things that need an excuse are not wanting to run errands . . . not wanting to exercise . . . not wanting to eat healthy . . . and stuff related to social events, like skipping them or showing up late.  (SWNS)
