On this episode of Roll The Credits, Ryan and Tina really dive into some heavy stuff regarding the two movies they chose for Charlize Theron. Tina's movie has her asking a question regarding forgiveness and how each host goes about getting to the point of it. Funnily enough, without Ryan knowing, this tied into a story about a popcorn maker in the opening of the episode. Somehow the conversation about forgiveness turns into a deep conversation about human connection and the impact media has on it and how much has changed in just our short lifespan. Then Ryan watches a movie that makes him curious to learn about Tina's high school experience before he shares his. All that and a whole lot more on this week's episode of RTC!!

ABOUT NEAL LYNCH:

I'm a plump and furry Irish-Italian-American who graduated from a Catholic high school (but isn't Catholic), and a college known for producing doctors and lacrosse players, then became neither. Instead, I'm a blogger, vlogger, podcaster, writer, editor, video optimizer, content strategist, and failed stand-up comedian. I love the New York Giants and NY Mets. As an Academy-Award winning actress, producer of critically acclaimed film and television, long-time activist, and single mom, Charlize Theron has helped reinvent what the model of success can look like for women in Hollywood. And with her relentless work ethic, eye for challenging material, and willingness to commit to radical physical transformations, she’s created a remarkable gallery of performances, from “Monster” to “Tully,” “Mad Max: Fury Road” to “Bombshell.”

In this interview, Theron discusses her new Netflix film “The Old Guard,” directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, and she reflects on some of the choices that have defined her career. She talks about why she relishes the work of being a producer, how fear has been a powerful driving force, why she feels an element of surprise in her films is key, and the importance of never giving up too easily.
