Singing is cool again with Sinead Harnett, Grades, Jae Stephens and Monro

Music Life

Sinead Harnett, Grades, Jae Stephens and Monro discuss why naming songs is the easy part, balancing life and music, the importance of breaking away from music in order to live and gain experiences to write about, and the influence of R&B on their sound.Born in the UK before moving to Los Angeles, Sinead Harnett's latest record, Ready Is Always Too Late, is about “[embodying] the best version of yourself”. She’s worked with musical heavyweights such as Disclosure, Rudimental, EARTHGANG and Lucky Daye, as well as former Music Life guests Masego and MNEK.Grammy-winning producer, songwriter and DJ Grades has worked with and remixed artists including Labrinth, Bastille, Becky Hill, Nile Rodgers, Dua Lipa, and Nao. Jae Stephens is an artist, songwriter, producer, and singer originally from Dallas, now based in Los Angeles. She started singing at the age of 12, recently performed with Khalid, and is very much an artist to keep your ears on. And Monro is a Grammy nominated producer, songwriter, and artist. He’s written and produced for the likes of Jhene Aiko, Rico Nasty, and our host today, Sinead Harnett.

NBA Playoffs' First Round Developments, Sinead Harnett's Ready Is Always Too Late Review and Ocean's Twelve Review

Fullscope Podcast

In this episode, Wellington and Savon discuss the extremely strong start Luka Doncic has gotten off to in the playoffs, Milwaukee’s sweep of Miami and what they can build on for their 2nd round matchup. They also discuss how Trae Young’s playmaking elements and continued growth in the postseason has been highlighted, Utah being a legitimate top-tier playoff team in the West and how the Lakers have had looks of coming back to form and how Devin Booker is handling his first playoff opportunity with Phoenix. Finally, they review Sinead Harnett’s sophomore album Ready Is Always Too Late, how she worked seamlessly with her features, this being one of the standout albums of the year so far and they review J.I.D.’s 2018 DiCaprio 2 album. In the second half, they review Ocean’s 12, the 2004 heist comedy film directed by Steven Sodebergh. Starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Andy Garcia; they dive into how this sequel had a slower start, it still having constant movement and strong chemistry and also if this is a top-tier heist film or a notch below the caliber of what Ocean’s 11 possessed. Finally, they discuss how important Terry Benedict’s position was for this film, Steven Sodebergh detailing things falling apart constantly and the charisma of the cast still being exceptional.

TRC: Sinead Harnett “Lessons in Love -Acoustic” Review

The R&B Connoisseur

An in depth review of Sinead Harnett’s debut album “Lessons in Love (The Acoustic Version)” I remember falling In love with her voice early last year but only having EPs to listen to kinda like the whole Ella Mai situation. Well last year she dropped her debut album and a couple weeks ago she took 7 tracks from it and released the acoustically. I have one word for whoever decided this “GENIUS!” Her voice is amazing and simplifying the production my only including a guitar or a piano only enhances the experience. 7 tracks wasn’t enough for me but I’m hoping these tracks put her in the spotlight. I also talked about the what Jack Ryan, Insanity, The Last Dance and other random stuff (business as usual). Just opinions from my side about the albums (lyrics, concept, jokes, etc). ENJOY!!! Ciara London & Sinead Harnett: Learning To Love Yourself - Ep 148

In The Moment with Alex Manzi

On this episode I’m joined by Ciara London and Sinead Harnett who are not only two amazing women but also best friends. I’ve really loved seeing both of their growth over the years, Ciara with building her business and inspiring women every day through her workouts, she recently featured in women health magazine and Sinead with her incredible music and connection she has with fans all across the world. It was really special to have this conversation because not only have both girls featured on the podcast in separate episodes but we all grew up in the same area of north London During this conversation, we spoke about: - Learnings and growth they’ve experienced in recent weeks - Dealing with the emotional highs and lows of lockdown - Becoming comfortable with uncertainty - Body image and learning to love yourself If there is someone you feel would benefit from hearing this conversation then please make sure you share it with a friend who would enjoy listening and really take something from it :) thedreamersdisease.co.uk Follow Ciara: IG: @ciaralondon Follow Sinead: IG: @sineadharnett Follow Alex: IG: @iamalexmanzi Twitter: @iamalexmanzi
