AudioBlog: A Wyoming Elk Hunter Takes a Ride in a UFO

Podcast UFO

Back in the days before aliens took on the form of the standardized “Grey” model, they came in all shapes and sizes. UFOlogists called them “humanoids,” and there was a wave of them in France in 1954. In 1955 they started popping up in the United States and worldwide. Many UFOlogists, who were trying to convince the scientific community that the mystery was worth studying, tended to reject humanoid reports. Some, such as Coral and Jim Lorenzen of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization, kept an open mind as long as the humanoids didn’t talk. If a witness reported they had had a conversation and were taken to another planet, that case was tossed into the contactee pile. However, there was a case in the seventies that made the Lorenzens and a lot of other researchers rethink their position. On Oct. 25, 1974, Rawlins, Wyoming resident Carl Higdon decided to take the day off from his job as foreman for an oil drilling crew. One of his “key men” was sick with the flu and he didn’t think anything would be accomplished that day. It was the peak of elk hunting season, and he had just bought a 7mm Remington Magnum rifle, so he probably didn’t have to think for too long about how he would be spending the day. He loaded up his company’s two-wheel drive pickup truck and headed for McCarty Canyon in Carbon County. Complete blog with links: https://podcastufo.com/a-wyoming-elk-hunter-takes-a-ride-in-a-ufo/

EP 71: The Aggressive Elk Hunter

ElkBros Blue Collar Elk Hunting

Elk Hunting is about encounters and opportunities. The more encounters you have, the higher your odds at having an opportunity and closing the deal. But how is it that some people have so many more opportunities? Is it luck?My father had a saying. Whenever I would tell him he was lucky, he would always tell me "Luck is nothing but skill and opportunity meeting". When I asked him how it was that he had so many more "opportunities" than others, he just looked at me,... winked and said..."because I create MY OWN opportunities". When it comes to elk hunting, there are going to be plenty of guys and gals that have encounters and opportunities this coming season. They are going to be in the right place at the right time. But if you want to be "That Hunter", the one out of 10 that are consistently having opportunities and getting it done, year after year, then let me share a little lesson from my dad...you are going to have to learn how to create your opportunities. On this Tuesday's Show, We talk about how to create your elk hunting opportunities by being an aggressive hunter. But what does it mean to be an aggressive elk hunter? Is it screaming challenges? Is it an attitude or a temperament? Is it being a wrecking ball and forcing the issue? Well, let's see....the answer to those would be "no", "yes" and "yes and no", lol. In this episode, we are going to explain exactly what it means to be an Aggressive Elk hunter. How you too can go after those hunting opportunities like a dog on a bone, focused and yes..."Aggressive".EVERYTHING ElkBros – https://www.elkbros.comPURCHASE ElkBros Merch - https://gear.elkbros.comWatch the Blue Collar Elk Hunting Podcast: https://youtube.com/c/elkbrosListen to their Blue Collar Elk Hunting Podcast: http://podcast.elkbros.com/ SUBSCRIBE!
