Ep 19 - Leta Greene, Wife, Mother, Speaker, Author, and "Other Stuff"

Play

Leta Greene has been through enough for her to challenge God, The Universe, and anyone else that says, "Life is good", and yet she doesn't. Leta recognizes that life isn't supposed to be easy and that if we're not careful, we can give control of our lives over to "He who is poopy" or, "The source of all poop". (Satan. She means Satan)

Life is good because we can try. Don't be a remnant of your situation. Have the confidence to overcome whatever is trying to bring you down. What do you want to achieve? What do you want to become? Take care of yourself with self-care and self-talk. You get to decide who has an impact on your inner soul. You get to decide your direction. If others are depending on you, you can only give what you possess. There is so much in this episode, I hope you enjoy!

EP #13 Finding a Happy and Fulfilling Life After Sexual Abuse with LETA GREENE

Today, we are joined by a very special guest, Leta Greene. She was raised in what she calls two extremes: truck stops and Provo, Utah. Not exactly spots that belched up beauty tips. So, how did a shy tomboy with her share of scars become a confident beauty expert? Here’s a clue: it didn’t involve a traditional makeover or even much makeup!  She discovered the secret to lasting beauty—and it worked despite all the scars and truck stops.

Leta gives us a look into his background, and why she is passionate about educating kids about topics that they face in today’s world. She creates an immediate rapport to help them build their confidence and understanding of healthy relationships.

Leta speaks into why we don’t want to terrify young minds with all the realities and dangers of our world. Just as when we explained to our children to look both ways before crossing the street we did teach them by showing them pictures of children that had been hit. We taught them the principle and pointed out the dangers they could understand at an age-appropriate level.

As my conversation progresses with Leta, she uncovers howWe can be destroyed or remade if you recognize there's something more to who you are. Stories about her clients started telling life story and how different points in her life.

With his focus in trauma, Leta is able to shed light that it was more than about timing to share her story but to share very poignantly that events no matter how horrid can be overcome and be sources of strength to enhance your life.

Leta offers rich insight that can pertain to anything, not just business, anything, anything sexual abuse, abuse, and the mental limitations.

“If you start looking at a lot of studies that talk about how that gives people hope from a scientific concept, the very concept of hope is a God concept. ”

With the recent "me too" movement, it is apparent that so many women have been victimized, violated, and hurt in their lifetime.

While it is fantastic that we acknowledge that it exists and to break the silence- it's even more important to know how to move past it and to live a life of incredible peace, joy, and success despite our circumstances.

The incredible Ms. Leta Greene will show us how. She shares her story of sexual abuse from 2 1/2 to 14 years of age and the turning point that helped her to move past it and allow it to help her have even more in her life.

Even if you haven't experienced sexual abuse- we all have something to get over (or are going through right now!)- divorce, death, substance abuse, domestic violence- whatever it is, this beautiful episode will give you the tools and knowledge to become a victor instead of a victim.
