Interview with Producer ANNE LUNDGREN – Film Black Road, Calvin Marshall, and Redwood Highway Film BLACK ROAD is written and directed by Gary Lundgren and produced by Anne Lundgren. Together they own Joma Films in Ashland, Oregon. Working with a team of Oregonians, we have made two features in the Rogue Valley, CALVIN MARSHALL (2009) and REDWOOD HIGHWAY (2014). This neo-noir thriller is about an ex-military drifter who’s hired by a mysterious woman to protect her from a homicidal ex. With an A.I. implant in his head, DYLAN has a virtual companion and moral compass as his situation spirals out of control. Like classic film noir, BLACK ROAD reflects the insecurities of our time; the flailing American job market, economic inequality, government intrusion on civil liberties and our growing love affair with technology.  At the heart of this movie is a simple story of desire and disillusionment. Our hero craves a stable life, satisfying work and meaningful relationships…but he’s in trouble – caught between $18M in gold, a femme fatal and the maniac who wants her dead.
