We can’t even begin to tell you how pumped we are to have Scot Pollard in the house today! Pollard was a fan favorite everywhere he went because of his defense, hustle, personality, and being the ultimate teammate. You may remember him most from those electric Sacramento Kings teams that gave that city and the league so much joy, and he was a huge part of that.
Pollard played 4 years at Kansas where he helped the Jayhawks to four Sweet 16’s and a run to the Elite 8. He was drafted 19th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 1997 NBA Draft and went on to have a successful 11 year NBA career. He finished his career winning an NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics in the 2007-2008 season. Pollard is the ultimate glue guy that made teams better everywhere he went and we get to hear all about his experiences. We talked about those amazing Kansas teams, South Tahoe alumni Jerod Haase, his journey to the NBA, Tim Donaghy, his experience with Malice at the Palace, the Boston Celtics title run, his time on Survivor, and MUCH more!
