Growing up in Northern England, Jen Barclay fell in love with the Greek Islands during her childhood family vacations, and realized she wanted a career working with books while working in the publishing industry in Toronto. After working in publishing in France and the UK, she decided to move to the Greek islands to figure out what was next and has been working from the islands in travel writing and publishing ever since! She currently lives on the beautiful Greek island of Karpathos, has published two books, and has realized her dream of helping writers get their travel stories published. On this episode we talk about how Jen found her career path and realized her dream of living on a Greek island, what day to day life is like, and how sacrifices may be required to pursue your travel and lifestyle dreams - but with some unexpected benefits!
