Being called for missions work with Becky Murray - Episode 6 (Season 4)
You Are the Salt
Becky Murray is the founder and president of One By One. She is the author of ‘Mother Bumala’ and ‘Embrace The Journey’ and speaks regularly at churches and conferences across the world. Becky’s life was transformed in 2006 when a young girl she bought a pair of shoes for on the streets of Sierra Leone assumed she wanted sexual favours in return. This moment sparked the formation of One By One, and after being given some land in Kenya in 2009, King’s Children’s Home opened its doors in 2012. She is also the founder of the Dignity Project and is the host of Embrace The Journey, to be seen on TBN UK, and the co-host of Into All The World. She has also featured on BBC, UCB, Premier Radio, Revelation TV and the 700 Club. Becky is married to Matthew and the couple have one son, Josiah, who was born in 2011. The Murrays reside in Staffordshire, England. In this episode, Luwi and Becky talk about purpose, mission and all the nuances that come with it. You get to hear how Becky pivoted from wanting to study law to becoming a missionary nurse.--- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/you-are-the-salt/support

Does your clinic need a counselor? A Conversation with Becky Murray CVT LCPC (Licensed clinical professional counselor)
Veterinary Viewfinder Podcast
Working in a veterinary clinic can be stressful! Burnout, compassion fatigue, imposter syndrome, depression, and more are a few of the consequences of an unhealthy work environment and lack of emotional support for veterinary professionals. This week, hosts Dr. Ernie Ward and Beckie Mossor RVT are joined by a licensed clinical professional counselor who also happens to be a Certified Veterinary Technician! Becky Murray, CVT, MA, LCPC discusses her role as grief counselor for clients, how she helps her staff of over 300 (!!!) successfully (and healthily) deal with daily stress, and tips for handling online criticisms and negativity. The trio also cover the practical value of glitter jars (that's not a typo, and Dr. Ward is apparently a glitter-fan), why you shouldn't throw pizza or doughnuts at problems (again, not a typo), and how to avoid judging and shaming clients for their treatment choices. If you like this type of content, please subscribe and leave us a review on iTunes! Becky carries a heart of compassion for children and those in need. As a young girl she would always be drawn to the broken or damaged teddy bear in a toy store and it was clear God was birthing a love for the poor in her heart. Her life was radically changed at the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida, following an encounter with the Holy Spirit, and she subsequently visited Mozambique to work alongside American missionary Heidi Baker on a three-month internship. Becky had felt God speak to her when she was 18 that she would one day run her own children’s home and she followed this dream by launching One By One. Her passion is to rescue children and see them released into their destinies.https://onebyone.net/
