With four kids under 6, Meghann Finn and Danielle King were already rockstar #workingartistmothers as artistic director and managing producer resepectively of the Tank NYC, home to emerging artists from a wide variety of disciplines, including theater, comedy, dance, film, music, puppetry and storytelling. Since COVID hit they have taken their superpowers to a whole new level. With theater shut down indefinitely this non-profit, and many others in our world, were faced with a really difficult decision, and these two women rose to the challenge in such a remarkable way, moving their content to an entirely online forum, giving artists not only the space and support to create, but the platform in which to share it. Their indomitable spirit and fortitude is keeping creativity alive, inspiring us all to keep moving forward through doubt, uncertainty and a future that looks far different than we ever could have imagined.
