That Thing You Do! (1996) With Jeremy Culhane & Riley Westling
You've Got Hanks
*Clap Clap* *Clap* We're doing that thing we do again, and this time, we're talking Colin Hanks! For the first episode of Season 2, I had to ask back my first guests from Season 1 — Jeremy Culhane (@jazzy_jelly) and Riley Westling (@rileywestling) — to discuss That Thing You Do! (1996). Even though it's a brief cameo, Colin really kills it in this movie written, directed, and starring his dad, Tom Hanks. I recap some #FunFacts I learned about this movie from The Wonders, and we design some Hanks Kerchiefs. Also, Jeremy and Riley find out which members of The Oneders they are. You can too here. Also, Sam calls in for our first ever "Call-In Colin" segment. If you'd like to be a part of the next "Call-In Colin," call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster is now a musical! With songs like “The One-Two-Threes Of Bungee Jumping” and “Nothing Bad Happens In The Van That Carries The Plutonium,” this episode makes JUST as much sense as the movie! Thanks Gummer!
Wow, this week, I'm joined by the super funny Jeremy Culhane (@jazzy_jelly) to talk about the latest TikTok trends. What's the latest baking trend? What the Spider-Man and Taylor Swift conspiracy theories? And, do we mention the Fortnite song? We answer these questions & more! Plus, we get a little Hype House corner and update on everyone's favorite TikTok kids. Let me know what's on your FYP @ladytomhanks. — SHOW INFORMATIONInstagram: Instagram Twitter: Twitter Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Follow: Spotify
182 - Jeremy Culhane and Riley Westling in "Summer Camp Narcs and Airport Stoners"
The MEAT Improv with Jake Jabbour and Josh Simpson
This week, we have comedians Jeremy Culhane (UCB Moon Goon, UCB Ghost, Swimming Lessons) and Riley Westling (Everything's Fine, Our Podcast Got Hacked, Call Me By My Name) to talk free travel from good friends, getting busted at camp by super parents, squealing, bailing, and getting too high and delayed at the airport. These lead to scenes about insecure lost and founders, Leonardo DiCaprio's jacket, chaperone flashbacks and more! If you like The MEAT, you can get access to our weekly bonus episode where Josh and Jake talk shop about improv, as well as access to our Discord server by becoming a patron of our show at www.patreon.com/themeatimprov For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacySupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-meat-improv-with-jake-jabbour-and-josh-simpson/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
On this episode I was joined by Jeremy Culhane and Mary Anthony and they helped me recreate everyone's favorite coming-of-age comedy film, The Sandlot. Lot's of heartwarming scenes on this episode including the time Smalls hit a homerun off of his hips, the time The Beatles met The Drifters at a carnival, and the moment that Benny Rodriquez realized how much his mom loves baseball. Take a listen!
Run Forrest Run! This musical retelling of the Tom Hanks film has hits like “Shrimp’s Good, You Gotta Eat Shrimp”, “I’m Good At Army Stuff”, “Let Me Die, I’m Lieutenant Dan” and the delightful duet “Happy New Year (From Two Random Strangers).” Your ears and this episode go together like Baked Potato and Sour Cream!
He Knows You're Alone (1980) with Riley Westling & Jeremy Culhane
You've Got Hanks
Starting off our Tom Hanks' journey with his first-ever movie, He Knows You're Alone, with special guests Riley Westling (@rileywestling) and Jeremy Culhane (@jazzy__jelly). This horror movie is all about a bride-to-be being stalked by some random man who's out to kill anyone remotely related to getting married. It may have been a scary movie, but the scariest part was how long it took for us to get to Tom's scene. Although it was a small part, Tom makes the most of it as his charming self. We also talk about how annoying Marvin is, and find out if Riley and Jeremy would survive a horror movie. Do you think you could survive?
