Alaskan Bush to Fireside: Lori Zulliger

Play
Read more
Lori Zulliger is a certified teacher who has had experience working with the native peoples in Alaska. Lori first became involved with homeschoolers through a curriculum project she was field testing to help students pass the Alaskan State exit exam in reading, writing and math. Her experience with the homeschool families was so positive she became hooked and began counseling them about their goals, curricula and methodologies to create a love of learning with their children. Finally she and her husband took the plunge and started to teach their 2nd grader at home. Join me this Friday as I talk to Lori about the homeschooling movement in Alaska and the terrific support and resources available in our forty-ninth state.
