Superheroes of Science

Dr. Anthony (Tony) Murphy is director of The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program Implementation Office (GIO) and is internationally known for his work in STEM education.  In this special episode of Superheroes of Science, Tony discusses the career path that led him to his position with The GLOBE Program.  He provides insights related to science learning outside the ‘boxes’ of content and why a scientist would want to use GLOBE data in their classroom. As GLOBE prepares to celebrate their 25th anniversary (Earth Day 2020), Tony addresses his vision for The GLOBE Program in the next 25 years.
