Hi lovely,Here at Project Love, we love to share and celebrate real love stories. We love to go beneath the surface and have deep and meaningful conversations with people about their relationships, looking at things like; how they support each other to grow, how they navigate challenges, how they make love last and the lessons they’re learning along the way. It’s in hearing people’s real love stories, that we can learn so much about love and what it takes for a relationship to thrive. And this week’s episode is one of those episodes! It’s a real love story with the wonderful Lisa Pascoe, who reflects on her beautiful love story with her wife Bekky. What I found so inspiring about Lisa and Bekky’s love story is their daily commitment to each other. In Lisa’s words, “everyday we recommit to the relationship we’re in, by choosing to be in that relationship”. How beautiful is that?Lisa is an intuitive life coach and she brings invaluable advice and wisdom on life and love to this episode. She is all about being who you are and not who the world tells you to be. This message is at the heart of her podcast, Bravehearts Rising. And it’s really at the heart of this episode too. In the episode, Lisa shares her experience of coming out, back in the 90’s when people only talked about the first three letters of LGBTQ+ and her journey to self acceptance. In her work, Lisa supports empaths, highly sensitive women and LGBTQ+ folks to slow down, hit the reset button and have a kinder, gentler relationship with themselves. She does this through 1:1 coaching (both online and in nature), wellbeing workshops and nourishing circles. To find out more about Lisa and her wonderful work, head here www.lisapascoe.com (she’s also on Instagram here).I loved recording this episode with Lisa.I hope you enjoy it!Love, Vicki x PS here is the Brene Brown podcast episode we mentioned, it was actually Brene on Tim Ferris’s podcast (she also has a brilliant podcast called Unlocking Us)

Today's conversation is with Rewilding Coach and podcaster Lisa Pascoe, who shares the steps that led her from feeling lost in a world that didn't fit, to her rediscovering her true nature and bringing together her passions for language, people and nature. There's so much richness in this conversation. You will love Lisa and what she shares will definitely enrich your life journey. Lisa shares an amazing quote: “Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.” ― Norman CousinsSays it all really xxAbout Lisa PascoeLisa Pascoe is the host of Bravehearts Rising podcast, an Inspirational Speaker, Intuitive Master NLP Practitioner, and Recovering Perfectionist on a mission to help empaths and highly sensitives to tap into their inner wisdom, and thrive in a noisy, modern world. A mixture of self-pressure, a burning desire to fit in and raging hormones meant that Lisa struggled as a teen. Sensitive by nature she used self harm and external validation as a way of coping with anxiety. This led her to go on a quest to let go of all the shoulds and embrace her gloriously, messy human self.Fast forward to today and not only does she feel happier and more grounded than ever, she also really likes who she sees in the mirror. A big part of this is thanks to her renewed love affair with nature and all that it has taught her.Lisa now runs rewilding retreats, 1:1 coaching and soul-nourishing circles for sensitive women wanting to feel connected on a deeper level. She currently lives in Southsea with her partner Bekky and their wire-haired sausage dog Henry. She has a penchant for cake, oracle cards and walks in the woods. Lisa currently lives in Southsea with her partner Bekky and their wire-haired sausage dog Henry. She has a penchant for cake, oracle cards and walks in the woods. I don’t even know where to start when it comes to sharing what we talked about during today’s episode. To say we really went there is an understatement! Lisa shares her journey into working to create spaces for women to to drop out of their heads and get into their hearts, embracing the dark as well as the light (we also have a great conversation about the dangers of spiritual bypassing) and Lisa’s journey of living a life that feels aligned and true. We talk about not living on autopilot, the value of having a space where you are simply listened to, the difficulties that come with being an empath, and how important seasons, cycles and sanity are for women and how we can use them to live a life that is led by our intuition. And SO much more! If you need some fire in your feminist belly, if you’re looking for a way to tune into your intuition or you’re sick of this whole idea that there’s a prescribed path or blueprint to how you should live your life, you are going to love this episode. This episode is a great dollop of permission to own and change your story and to write your own chapters. Lisa and I first connected back in 2015 when I worked on her branding, and I am so happy our paths have crossed again. Her work is currently influencing me more than I can tell you and our conversation just filled my soul. Here’s to rising as women and changing the world!
